The Spider and the Fly: A Reporter, a Serial Killer, and the Meaning of Murder by Claudia Rowe
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Many thanks to Edelweisse The Treeline for the opportunity to read The Spider and the Fly: A Reporter, A Serial Killer, and the Meaning of Murder by Claudia Rowe
Tonight while recommending a creepy psychological thriller; not a mystery, I was thinking of this book. Why I did not already write a review; I have no idea. It cannot wait a moment later. The writing in this book is incredible.
When an author is able to pull you into another dimension and keep you hostage until the ride is over, that is an author I want to follow. Claudia Rowe is a journalist, who crafts words skillfully. If I could double the rating to 10 stars it would not be enough.
It is my hope that "The Spider and the Fly: A Reporter, A Serial Killer and the Meaning of Murder" will win multiple awards and be used to analyze serial killers who refuse to fit in any profile. Another thing is how apathetic law enforcement can be; how they are party to some of the worst crimes imaginable.
I will not attempt to tell you what this is about, nor how you should view it. Each reader uses their own vehicle to ride into books. Every person is unique, and there will be many different responses to this book. If you love good writing. Poignant stories, and psychological suspense. Read this book.
