The President Is MissingThe President Is Missing by Bill Clinton
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The President Is Missing by Bill Clinton & James Patterson was an excellent listen.

As a librarian in the Arkansas History section of our library, I have a lot of insight as to the lives of public service of the Clinton family. Imperfect human beings, at least they are human; well-educated and brilliant.

Before serving as President of the United States, William Jefferson Clinton beat the odds of childhood poverty, graduated from Yale with a degree in Law. Eventually teaching International Law in Little Rock, Arkansas. The Clinton Foundation was the first in the US to offer a Masters Degree in Public Service. The Clinton Library, on the bank of the Arkansas River, is an educational and affordable place to visit.

I mention all of the above because the tsunami of misinformation and character assassinations against the Clinton Family have clouded a clearer vision of how intelligent Bill Clinton is. It needs to be said because of rabid disclosure against past errors in his life keep the good of William Clinton from being seen.

A television interview supposedly to discuss the newly published The President Is Missing turned into a verbal barrage of insults and old accusations that had nothing to do with the book. Poor James Patterson looked like a deer in the headlights because there was nothing productive about the interview.

It is shameful that many people will not read or listen to this suspense-filled, intrigue novel; where some frightening truths about the runaway GOP Congress and the corruption empowered that would gladly destroy a widowed, single-father, ill President, and Nation to please a party of sick billionaires, is told via the vehicle of fiction.

(I listen to audiobooks as I drive because I am sickened by classic rock and hard rock stations which of late, have ordained themselves as moral ministers that dare prescribe family values, what to wear, how to look, and the way patriotic American acts.)

There were days I remained in my truck listening to this book because I could not stand not to hear the next thing. When I finished there was a vacuum, and all I could say was, WOW, wow, wow.

Read it or not, Listen or not, it is an excellent project and work.
